My nail polish is soft and i painted them at 3 pm and it is now 10:30 pm what can i do to harden it?

Nail polish is meant to be applied in coats that dry separately...does that make sense? In other words, if you apply coat after coat without allowing time to dry in between, your polish will take FOREVER to dry %26amp; it's so irritating!!! To speed up drying time, use a blow dryer, but still give the coats at least 10 minutes each to dry.

Another tip: I never buy regular polish anymore, unless it's a rare color or something. I use the fast-dry polishes. The paint dries in less than a minute- it's sooo much better. Good luck :)My nail polish is soft and i painted them at 3 pm and it is now 10:30 pm what can i do to harden it?
The more you apply, the softer it will stay. I get that sometimes with nail polish - I apply it and then a few hours later, it feels like it's completely dried, but when I wake up you will see indents in them.

Try less coats, a base and top coat.My nail polish is soft and i painted them at 3 pm and it is now 10:30 pm what can i do to harden it?
its because you did a thick coat.

take it off, clear nail polish first, then 3 strokes of thin nail polish per nail..little enought to be able to see through!

let that dry, now a 2nd coat...also very light! let it dry never blow on ur nail polish it ruins the shine after its dry complety- clear coat!
You may have put too thick of a coat on. I would take it off and try again. Use a base coat first and then 2 thin coats of the polish (let your nails dry in between) and then a top coat.
Hairdryer.
