Wash the wound really well with soap and warm water. How bad a wound is it? If it's shallow you should be fine with just a really good scrubbing. If it's very deep, a lot of bleeding, etc. then yes call an ambulance if that's the only way for you to get to the ER for treatment. If it's not that bad, then you don't need an ambulance.
I assume you don't live by yourself, just that no one is home at the moment? Call them. Ask them to pick up some antibacterial ointment and bandages on their way home.
If your tetanus shot is out of date you should make an appointment for a new one as soon as you can. in addition keep an eye out for infection: swelling, redness, heat, tenderness to the touch, red lines extending away, a bad smell, pus, and an unexplained fever. If you see any of those signs go to the doctor.
